"Every man who is sexually faithful to his wife already engages in daily heroic self-control. He has married knowing he will have to deny his sexual nature's desire for variety for the rest of his life."

Wow, he's right - never thought about it that way. Married men are truly heroes. All men dream of sleeping with everything they see, and all women dream of marriage, right? So for men, marriage is the ultimate sacrifice.

I'm so touched. I wish, as a woman, there was some way I could give back. Oh yes, there it is - let him use me as a sex object, even when I'm not "in the mood," which our friend Mr. Prager expansively defines to include CHILDHOOD TRAUMA. wtf. because we all know what childhood rape victims really need is to end up in a situation that mimics sexual slavery. not trust, patience, understanding, tenderness.

no, as he goes on to say, when the woman agrees to sex even when she really doesn't want to, and it feels "dehumanizing" and "mechanical," she should just close her eyes and remember that her husband will probably reward her by being more romantic afterwards.

And then he gets down to his real point: "Why do we assume that it is terribly irresponsible for a man to refuse to go to work because he is not in the mood, but a woman can -- indeed, ought to -- refuse sex because she is not in the mood? Why?" All those feminists out there just don't understand that a man's main role in life is in the workplace, while a woman's role in life is to endure stoically while making all her orifices unconditionally available.
