Once again, she is making it harder and harder for me to support her if she somehow manages to get the nomination. She will say and do anything, even if it means rewarding, accepting, or condoning the status quo of this country. I am appalled that she calls herself a Democrat, much less a liberal. Shame on her.

Yeah, it gets beyond ridiculous.
I don't get the people who say "Well, the educated people are voting for Obama so we don't want none o' that. Let's vote for that spunky fighter who drinks beer with us even though she's got no chance of winning."
Sigh.
It's less even that it's true--there is a lot of discomfort and racism still in a lot of uneducated, working class America. I'm from the South and went to college in the Midwest, so I also bristle at the prejudice towards the "flyover" country I encounter... it's more her reaction to this fact. Instead of acknowledging that there are seemingly real reasons for the racial divide in this country, namely poverty, and urging us to all unite to fix our inherently unequal society, she is encouraging the divide as a way to secure the nomination. She's stoking the fires of people already feeling marginalized instead of attempting to overcome these base feelings and make a better US. It's horrifying to watch--it's old politics at it's worst. It's straight out of the "silent majority" and "religious right" handbook of political manipulation...
